A small gift in the making for you…
2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
What resonates with me most in giving is the willingness. There is such deep joy in giving freely, without expecting anything in return. This selfless act of kindness—showing up, being present—becomes a reflection of God’s love when it is aligned with His word.
In church, pastors often emphasize tithes, reminding us that giving is both discipline and a blessing to the body of Christ. But for me, I don’t feel pressured to pay tithes. When the time comes, I bless God not out of compulsion, but because my heart desires to. I love to give.
And I know God is with me. As I walk through the journey of publishing my book, the very first instruction He placed on my heart was to gift my readers. So when someone buys a book, I will send them a free gift in appreciation. To me, this is God’s way of showing that He delights in reciprocity, reminding me that He is with me every step of the way.
