Chaos into Clarity
Scripture Foundation
“For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:33
Reflection
Chaos often feels like failure. In June last year, I was certain my book Found would be published. But it didn’t happen. By November, I was so confident it was finally happening—I even promoted it heavily. Yet again, it didn’t happen. I didn’t cry; I was disappointed, and one tear slipped out. But then God renewed my mind and helped me understand this:
Had I rushed to publish in June, Katstale.com would not have been born. Had I rushed in November, I wouldn’t have had an author’s site. I wouldn’t have had two houses for my readers to dwell in after they read the book. It was because of the delay that a slew of ideas I never planned came to me.
Whether in life or even in website design, we see what looks “off” and wonder why it couldn’t just work the first time. But God uses chaos as a refining tool.
When I shape Katstale.com and Katianawrites.com, I sometimes think everything looks perfect—until I test the websites on another screen. Suddenly, the alignment feels wrong. Yet when I tweak it, the sites fall into place better than I imagined. That’s perspective. That’s God showing me that chaos isn’t the end—it’s the setup for clarity.
Encouragement
Chaos is not punishment. In tarot, when everything feels like it’s tumbling down, it’s called a tower moment. In Christianity, we call it spiritual warfare. Whether you’re pagan, Christian, or simply don’t believe, we all experience the same thing: crisis. And across every language, culture, and frame of mind, one truth is consistent: chaos is the canvas where God paints peace.
Every misalignment is an invitation to trust His hand, to believe that what feels broken will be rebuilt stronger.
Invitation
Look at the “chaos” in your life: is it revealing perspective you didn’t see before?
Trust the tweaks: God’s adjustments always lead to better alignment than your first vision.
Rest in His peace: disorder is temporary, but His love and order are eternal.
Prayer
Lord, help me see chaos not as failure but as Your refining hand. Align my life to Your design. Amen.
